But it doesn’t stop there. As more and more smart grid devices are installed on the grid, the volume of data is increasing exponentially. Estimates run at 700x+ increase for meter data alone. Petabytes of data are coming, and quickly.

We believe that applying proven big data technologies to our space lays the foundation for fast, cost-effective, and scalable storage and aggregation that opens the door to analytics and intelligence to protect revenue, reduce maintenance costs, manage load, and increase responsiveness.

We believe that data are not created relevant; but we make them so.
